The Campagna Family is from Gardnerville, Nevada, USA, and currently traveling around the world by land, sea, rail & air. We have four wonderful children: Nicholas, Ashley, Sebastian (12) and Lexi(10). Our youngest two are traveling with us while our two oldest are out of the home now. Our oldest son lives in Moscow, Idaho with his beautiful wife and our oldest daughter is a student at the University of Nevada Reno.
We created this Blog for our family and friends so we can stay connected and as a way to share our travel experiences, pics and videos, since we can’t always be together in the same place. We can be found on Instagram and YouTube.
This adventure all started when we set out in September 2018 and purchased a sailing catamaran in Greece and sailed it to Italy where we missed our window to crossing the Atlantic to the Caribbean and ended up wintering in Sicily. We had an incredible six months in Italy and during that time we started exploring the island and realized that some of us preferred this way of exploring to adventuring by boat. So we sold the boat!….and now we are continuing our travel by land, sea, rail & air. To date we have visited over 20 countries and 45 US states.
In June 2020 we purchased a Winnebago Class A motor home near Austin, Texas, and started a US tour of National Parks, State Parks and Historical points of interest in the Lower 48. The kids have been to Hawaii on our World Tour, and unfortunately due to COVID-19, we aren’t able to travel to Alaska. As of October 18, 2020 we have been traveling for 122 days and covered about 15,400 miles and 45 states and the District of Columbia (DC).
Our hope is to learn about our world, to share our story, to inspire others to cherish our world and to not be afraid of making mistakes, to learn from them and grow and maybe to even put a smile on your face.
