The Jungle Club Restaurant (เนเธเธเธเธฑเธเธเธฑเธเนเธเธญเธฐ), in Ban Lamai ?overlooking the gulf of Thailand. What a view, and the views here in Koh Samui come with a price- a very steep drive that is. Our rental car a Toyota Versa was of the gutless variety, basically having wheels, steering wheel, seats, small engine and little trunk space. It got us around but when we tried to tackle steep drives like the one we encountered driving up to the Jungle Club it left us pondering our sanity of trying to get there. At one point we all though we would need to get out of the car & try to push it up the hill. We were all a little scared as the car crawled and inched its way slower and yet slower still till we finally crested the top of the path & saw just around the corner a flat parking area. Yay! Glad we kept going and didn’t chicken out as the food & panoramic view was definitely top notch!
